Core Components of a Hellenistic Chart:
The Seven Classical Planets: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
Whole Sign Houses: Houses are identical to the zodiac signs, where the entire 1st house is the sign containing the Ascendant.
Sect (Day/Night Chart): Determines which planets are most favorable. Diurnal (day) charts favor the Sun/Jupiter; nocturnal (night) charts favor the Moon/Venus.
Ascendant (Horoskopos): The rising sign, marking the 1st house of body and life, setting the framework for the entire chart.
Aspects to the planets in the chart such as conjunctions, sextiles, squares and oppositions.
